So what if she can't fight? I like her. She's strong in her own way and you don't need to put a sword in her hand to show that. Sure, she has a better chance of survival if she had a sword or dagger but she's got Mulan for that. It seems she has been a sheltered princess for all of her life and I'm guessing swordsmanship was not exactly in the curriculum then.
I thought it was sweet that he offered to go in lieu of Henry. He's all about hope. Sure, I knew it wouldn't work out the way he planned it but his grandson was being hurt by that place. Would you rather put yourself or a 10-year old child in danger? It wasn't just a physical burn, it was his soul that was being burned. That's a burden a child should not have to carry. Charming thought he waltz in there, find Snow and tell her about the ink, she would kiss him and everything would be dandy. It wasn't about whether Henry would go back once he was asleep but a way to keep him safe. And that's why he's Charming.
Plus, Charming himself said that Snow was the brain in the relationship, he just did the fighting.
This guy is on no one's side but himself. His main driving force is to get to Storybrooke and knife Rumpelstiltskin. He'll do anything to do just that, though he probably figures the Fierce Four are safer companions than Cora.
So how did Hook remove Aurora's heart? Did he? Or was he playing Cora (I'm pretty sure he's playing Cora) or was it something else? That said, I've learned not to jump to conclusions with OUaT. The writers will explain everything in due time, even if more questions are raised in the course.
I'm as curious as the next person but we've yet to explore more of Hook's background. Maybe he learned it while in Neverland or something but the writers will explain it later. You can't look at anything on OUaT as plot-holes because we are not given the full picture, just little details. There's always something more that explains it and connects the dots. And I'm not going to blow out my brain-cells on this one.
So Oncers, take a chill pill and just relax. The winter finale is upon us, most likely it will leave us with more burning questions. I don't want you guys to be Cora-zombies by the time next year comes. Let's take pride in the fact that the writers are brilliant at what they do and won't leave us breathless for the wrong reasons.
