Written below are my opinions; you may let it influence you or you may not.
About The BOOK:
Twenty-year old Eloise, part of a world where characters are real, is sucked into a novel she was never meant to be part of. Now, caught where the only rules are made by authors and truly anything is possible, Eloise must find her way back home—or her life might end before she ever gets the chance to live it.
OFF BOOK explores the story beneath the stories, taking readers and characters alike on an adventure just waiting to be written.
THE THREE RS (Spoilers!)
I'm a fantasy junkie. I love high, epic fantasy with its detailed world building, the unpronounceable names, the requisite hero/heroine and his/her requisite holy grail quest. I also love fantasy without all these combinations (frankly, I read anything and everything) so I went into this story with great expectations. That said, I am conflicted about this book. On one hand, I like it well enough. On the other...I felt like screaming. Hence, this review will mainly consist of me trying to make sense of my feelings based on four categories: word-building; characters; character-relationships; and the plot.
