2 1/2 cup Flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 Tbsp White Sugar
4 Tbsp 1/2 tsp brown Sugar
1 Cup Margarine (soften not melted)
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Medium eggs
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
3 Cookie Trays
Preheat oven to 375* F.
First, sift the flour into the first bowl. Then add the salt and baking soda. Mix and place aside.
In the second bowl, place the soften margarine. Add the sugar (both brown and white) and Vanilla Extract. Mix until creamy. Slowly, add the flour mixture. Once the flour is fully incorporated, add the Chocolate Chips and fold it in with your spoon. Do. Not. Mix!! Fold!
Drop by spoonfuls onto the cookie tray. Place in the oven and leave for ten minutes. It will be soft once removed from the oven but will harden once cooled so DO NOT leave in the oven for longer than it needs to be.
Taste: slightly dry, yet still melt in your mouth. Crumbling.
